As an Accountant, you play a key role in managing and improving accounting systems. You ensure accurate financial reporting, balance the books, and generate monthly reports to support decision-making. Your expertise helps maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities: Handle general accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, asset management, and bank transactions Manage monthly closes and prepare financial statements Support internal and external audits, including year-end preparations Act as a key contact for tax advisors and auditors Oversee ESG reporting and compliance Prepare clear and timely audit documentation Perform SOX controls testing and review procedures conducted by team members Contribute to projects such as SAP S/4 HANA implementation Prepare and submit monthly declarations
Qualification Completed accounting education with an Accountant certification Experience with SAP systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in German (required) Strong problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or 3 years with an Accountant certification or equivalent work experience Technical experience is a plus
