• Identify and develop new leading-edge technologies together with the research team and its stakeholders.
• Enhance current product capabilities with innovative customer value using research results that are guaranteed to scale to large enterprise environments.
• Define roadmaps and ensure consistent and timely delivery of results.
• Track important developments in research and map them to the research strategy.
• Hire and grow top research talent.
• Mentor Ph D and master students to ensure direction aligns with research strategy.
• Contribute to the global research community by publishing and disseminating research findings in journals and speaking at conferences.
• Coordinate and co-define teaching efforts with partner universities.
